VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR 2023-24

Help Spread the word.....Simpson PTSA has some Committee Chair positions open for the 2023-24 school year. Any interest?

*Communications

Provides updates and maintains the Simpson PTSA website and calendar as necessary. Compiles, edits, and distributes newsletter, “Eagle Eye,” which is published monthly throughout the school year(filled). Sends out REMIND texts (filled). Assists with administration of our PTSA FB page. 

*Environmental Initiatives

Chair will co-ordinate supplies and volunteers for school grounds beautification projects and other sustainable initiatives in collaboration with school and clubs.

*International Night
An evening filled with cultural enrichment, Simpson families will participate by bringing a display board, craft, food samples and traditional performances. The Chair will plan, coordinate family participation, decorations for common areas, communicate, advertise, and facilitate performances/activities with help from the committee members.

*Legislation

Volunteer will provide updates on any relevant legislation and potential impacts to PTSA and its mission. Monitors and communicates current legislative issues on education and information on voter registration.

*School Supply Boxes

Volunteer is responsible for selecting a company for prepackaged school supplies, placing orders, and distributing orders to families on Soaring Day.

*Student Incentive Store

Plan and coordinate PBIS rewards for Simpson Students

*Student Recognition

Plan and coordinate quarterly rewards for Simpson Students for academic achievement.
