There are many ways to be involved in your children’s educational experience in Middle School!! The PTSA is committed to a variety of programs and we always welcome those who are interested in helping. Please contact us to let us know how you would like to participate!
We always need additional volunteers for any of our Committees. There is a Committee for every interest and time commitment. Even working parents can contribute! It’s a great way to be involved in your child’s education and meet new people as well.
Can you help this 2019-2020 school year with:
6th Grade Class Activity Night
7th Grade Class Activity Night
Red Ribbon Week October 24-31
Teacher & Staff Hospitality Events
The Front Office has shift openings for volunteers! For as little as 2 hours every other week, you could be involved in your child’s school in an extremely helpful way on an ongoing basis. You’ll do everything from answer phones to checking students out of school to small projects that help the front office staff. If interested, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information and available shift days/times
Volunteer in the front office! We have several shifts open for this school year. You’ll be answering phones, signing students in/out, delivering mail, and doing other easy (but very helpful) tasks. It’s a great way to become knowledgeable about Simpson’s policies/procedures, to recognize who the teachers are, to learn how to get around the school, and to put some faces with names of people who teach and administer your child every day. Volunteer shifts are only 2 hours, every other week. For more information and days/times of available shifts, send an email to email@example.com.
Volunteer in the Media Center:
Remember loving the library as a kid? Are you looking for a fun, easy way to give back to Simpson and maybe catch a glimpse of your student? Well, we’ve got an opportunity for you! We need volunteers to assist our Media Center staff. If you’re interested please contact Spring Voltz at firstname.lastname@example.org
