We appreciate our parent volunteers and there are many ways to get involved at Simpson. Consider volunteering a few hours of your time a month to help out students and teachers.

Duty Free Lunches
Teachers lunch with students every school day – we provide parent supervision twice monthly to give teachers a “free” lunch – shift can be once or twice a month for two hours each.

Front Office/Welcome Desk Volunteers
Parents work in front office and welcome desk to assist front office staff.  Twice a
month for two hour shifts.

8th Grade Dance
Help in planning & decorating for the 8th grade dance that takes place in the spring.

Fall Dance
Help in planning & decorating for fall dance for 6th and 7th grade students in Nov.

Pod Parent
Parents work in copy room to help with copying for teachers. You can work your
choice of shifts once or twice a month or whenever you have free time to help.

Spirit Store
Parents run spirit store in mornings before school for students from 8:45-9:15.
Shifts are once or twice a month.

Staff Appreciation/Hospitality
Provide baking/set up support for teacher appreciation and hospitality events.

Activity Nights
School activity for students to socialize and have fun after school – 3 per year.

Health and Youth Services – 5K spring run and Health Fair
5K run and health fair \in the spring – one time event – about 180 runners last year

Health and Youth Services – Hearing Screening and Testing
Support school nurse to provide testing – one time event
