Fresh Fruit Friday!

Fresh Fruit Friday @ Simpson!
Go ahead, grab a fruit for snack on Fresh Fruit Friday! The Simpson PTSA Health and Wellness Committee started the program last year to support Simpson’s commitment to healthier nutrition and improved fitness for our school community.
How It Works…
Every Friday morning, bowls of fresh fruit are placed in the commons for students, teachers, staff, and parent volunteers to enjoy for free. The fruit is made possible through donations from our school families and the support of Kroger, located at the intersection of Shallowford and Sandy Plains Roads. We sincerely thank Kroger for offering Simpson Middle School a discount so that we can provide more for our students! They love the fruit!
To sponsor the fruit for a particular Friday, please write a check for $30 to the Simpson PTSA, writing “Fruit Friday” and your student’s grade level on the memo line. Drop off the check along with the information needed (see below) in the gold PTSA box in the front office. Your donation is tax-deductible, and the PTSA takes care of purchasing and distributing the fruit. It’s that easy! The entire donation goes toward purchasing the fruit, usually between 100-150 apples, bananas, and oranges for your child’s grade level. Your contribution will be recognized in the “Eagle Eye” newsletter and morning announcements.
If you have any questions, please email Adina Lambert (adinatlambert@gmail.com).
